Anaheim, CA April 21, 2025 – For years the AWFS®Fair has been leading the way with education for the wood manufacturing industry. With our education conference we offer a variety of topic areas and formats for industry professionals and educators. On our AWFS®Fair Live Stage we showcase: mini-keynotes, WED Talks, on the latest trends and deep dives from experts in the industry, and our Rapid Fire Presentations on the newest products and services from key exhibitors. College of Woodworking Knowledge (CWWK): AWFS®Fair’s Education Conference
CWWK is AWFS Fair’s signature education conference with more than 55 sessions dedicated helping industry stay on top of what’s new and best practices to help the industry grow. Sessions are offered as talks, panels, workshops, and tours fitting into six tracks:
Business – The Business Track covers everything: marketing strategies, pricing, mergers & acquisitions, profiting from wood waste, and more. These are the sessions for any shop owner or manager to attend.
Technology – Software, Artificial Intelligence, and Machinery are explored in the Technology Track. These sessions showcase current and emerging technologies that all businesses should be taking advantage of to stay current in manufacturing.
Production – The Production Track covers all things Furniture, Cabinetry, Techniques, and Materials. Sessions are for any size shop on best practices for manufacturing wood products. Part of this track are hands-on workshops on CNC and epoxy for the production shop.
Educator – This Educator Track is dedicated to teachers, administrators, and anyone else in education looking to connect with the industry and promote careers in wood manufacturing. Session in CAD for the Woodshop, AI for Educators, and more give the tools needed for schools to promote wood manufacturing.
Workforce – The Workforce Track is open to both industry and education and the connection between them. For educators, how to network with industry and get support for your program. For industry, how to develop a skilled worker pipeline and develop talent in-house.
Field Trip – The new Field Trip Track blends education and the show floor with curated tours given by experts in targeted themes: Kitchens, Closets, Furniture, Educator/Student, Spanish Language, and Getting Started in the Industry. Attendees get introduced to exhibitors in their area of interest, key contacts, and project plans.

Rapid Fire Presentations: Exhibitors Highlight New Products and Solutions
Rapid Fire sessions are fast-paced 15-minute presentations offered by AWFS®Fair exhibitors, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; each day will focus on a different theme. Topics include Software, Hardware & Materials, and Machinery.
WED Talks: Keynotes on the big picture of the industry
On the AWFS®Fair Live Stage come see the big picture from experts in the industry in the Wood Education Talks program! Free for all at the show, this is the opportunity to connect with leaders in the industry and see what the future holds for wood manufacturing.
