AWFS^® Members of the Month

Each month AWFS^® recognizes one of its own for going above and beyond. These companies and employees reach beyond their shops and offices to work with AWFS^® on Public Policy, Education, and support the industry as a whole. June 2026	Castle USA		Castle USA is being recognized as AWFS Member of the Month for their outstanding commitment to supporting the next generation of woodworkers. Through their student competition, Castle USA helps inspire emerging talent, encourage hands-on skill development, and create meaningful opportunities for students to engage with the woodworking industry.

CP Adhesives is recognized as AWFS® Member of the Month for their continued dedication to public policy advocacy and their active engagement in representing the needs of the wood products industry. March 2026	Howard Products, Inc.		Howard Products goes above and beyond for trade education and the future generation of woodworkers through its support of SkillsUSA California. That’s why AWFS® is so pleased to count them as a member and our star member of the month.
February 2026	Drawer Box Specialties, Inc.		AWFS® is honored to have DBS as a member that cares about Education like we do! From past tours for students and donating excess materials to schools and non-profits, DBS walks the walk of education and workforce.
December 2025	WEIMA		AWFS takes the industry commitment to sustainability seriously with passionate and long-lasting partners like this member of the month, WEIMA! WEIMA’s Destroy Responsibly program at the AWFS Fair is a huge effort to get the wood industry to talk the talk and walk the walk!
November 2025	Wagner		AWFS shines the spotlight on November’s Member of the Month, Wagner Group, for their donation of 21 heat guns for use in education at the2025 AWFS Fair and beyond! AWFS works with local industry members and schools to offer training workshops to develop industry talent and donations of materials, tools, and more help support the next generation of wood industry professionals.
October 2025	GREX Tools		Always a supporter of AWFS and our work with SkillsUSA, Grex Tools steps up every year to loan and donate equipment to help students compete in the SkillsUSA California State competitions in woodworking. AWFS is pleased to announce Grex USA as its AWFS Member of the Month! With members like Grex, we can bring the industry together to support the next generation of wood industry professionals.
September 2025	JobCRM & ClosetCRM		When it comes to supporting the wood industry, AWFS relies on its members and their charity of time and resources to support efforts in education and workforce. A big thank you to AWFS’ member of the month JobCRM/ClosetCRM for stepping up to help students at the 2025 SkillsUSA CA State Conference!
August 2025	Frama-Tech		How do AWFS members get involved with the association? By participating in events and activities like AWFS’ organizing of the SkillsUSA California woodworking competitions. Thanks to our member of the month, Frama-Tech, students from across California were able to use real edgebanding and industry-standard edgebanders in their Cabinetmaking contest. By supporting career and technical education, Frama-Tech is supporting its future employees and customers and doing so for the whole industry.
July 2025	Specified Components, Co.		AWFS supports the industry in many ways, and one of the most important is through our advocacy for the wood industry in Washington DC. AWFS members and friends fly out to connect with Congressional offices and fight for wood product manufacturing. One of our partners in this is the July Member of the Month, Specified Components Co, who has taken up the charge to work alongside AWFS for fair trade practices and supporting trade education in the US. June 2025	Hafele America		More than just an industry leader, Hafele is a true champion for woodworking education. Whether it’s sponsoring SkillsUSA CA woodworking competitions or sharing their knowledge at an educator workshop hosted by Stiles Machinery, Hafele shows up — and gives back. Their dedication to bridging the gap between industry and education helps shape the next generation of wood manufacturing professionals, and we’re honored to call them a valued AWFS member.
May 2025	Carbide 3D		AWFS is excited to announce our Member of the Month for May 2025, Carbide 3D! Carbide 3D is a new member and exhibitor and hit the ground running with the Association by participating and partly sponsoring our Modern Design & Production Workshop. This workshop focused on CAD and CNC and Carbide 3D was there to network with teachers and students and support educating the next generation of wood industry professionals.
February 2025	Uneeda Enterprizes		AWFS would like to thank our outstanding member, Uneeda Enterprises, for their dedication to the association and the industry in working with AWFS on public policy advocacy in Washington DC and donating materials to support student woodworking competitions!
January 2025	Stiles Machinery		AWFS would like to highlight our Member of the Month, Stiles Machinery, for their generosity and dedication to teachers in last month’s educator workshop on Modern Cabinetmaking. Supporting teachers and students through site visits and other educational outreach make the whole woodworking industry thrive!
December 2024	Shaper Tools		AWFS is proud to highlight a star member, @shapertools, for their contributions to the association and the wood manufacturing industry. Shaper is a BIG supporter of trade education and volunteers for student events across the US. AWFS is also thrilled to partner with them for a teacher training workshop Spring 2025!
November 2024	Royal Plywood		AWFS is proud to highlight a star member, Royal Plywood Co., for their contributions to the association and the wood manufacturing industry. Royal Plywood was instrumental in assisting AWFS to facilitate a successful Manufacturing Day tour for students and continues to be an advocate for the wood industry in Washington DC!
October 2024	Air Handling Systems		AWFS loves to highlight our members that do great work for the association and the industry. Air Handling Systems sets a great example for other companies to support trade education through their work with apprenticeships, and also in advocating for the whole industry by meeting with lawmakers at the state-level and federally!
September 2024	Colonial Saw Co.		AWFS is proud to highlight a star member, Colonial Saw, for their contributions to the association, the wood industry, and educational outreach like: their donations of materials and tools for student competitions like SkillsUSA CA, and championing of wood education in schools with the Society of Wood Manufacturing (SWM).
