Manufacturer of Industrial (large) Woodworking Machinery is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with the following credentials: Job Duties: Design experience with material handling systems and robotics a plus. We manufacture high production machinery that use material handling systems to move wood, turn wood, stack wood, singulate wood parts etc.

• Must be proficient in Machinery Engineering and Design.
• Must have experience with AutoCAD & Pro Engineer/Creo software programs
• Will be designing machinery from the beginning to end
• Some experience with design of electrical, air and hydraulic systems related to industrial machinery (would be helpful)
• Ability to work and negotiate pricing with vendors and to perform review and costing for machinery being designed
• Ability to work as a team with other professionals

Requirements: To qualify for this position, an applicant must possess a minimum of a U.S. bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or multiple years of experience in the design and manufacturing of machinery and material handling.
