Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Minimum Qualifications Required
In limited circumstances, NTC may consider a combination of education, training, and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position. Education: Bachelor's Degree- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in related field (e.g. Wood Science) with the commitment to obtain a Bachelor’s degree upon hire in a closely related field (e.g. Forest Science, Forest Management, Natural Sciences, Technical Education, or similar).
- Occupational instructors must have a minimum of two years (4,000 hours) full-time or equivalent demonstrated relevant occupational experience, one of which must be within the last five years.
- May waive the occupational experience of one year within the last five years if the candidate has two years of post-secondary teaching experience in the appropriate occupational field within the last five years.
- Upon employment and throughout employment, must meet and continue to meet the WTCS and Higher Learning Commission requirements, accreditation standards, and/or licensing standards, where applicable.
- Experience in teaching and working with diverse populations preferred.

- Master’s level or higher education in a related field is advantageous.
